As in the United States, the film Madagascar 3 won the box office in Argentina. The third part of the DreamWorks animated film was seen by 556,261 people, while Snow White and the Hunter was ranked second. The version of the classic Brothers Grimm with Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart called for 119,728 people. According to the consultant Ultracine, third place was Men in Black 3 (65,203), followed by the movie starring Ricardo Darin, White Elephant (60 021), and The Avengers (55,989). In its opening weekend, the movie The Crow won the sixth place with 30,784 tickets sold. Far behind were American Pie: The Reunion (9076), My Week With Marilyn (8.099), The Exotic Marigold Hotel (6995) and Aki Kaurismäki's film, The Port (4841).
